How orders reach you, and what to do if something is wrong.

Shipping
How will my order ship?
Currently we only ship within the United States, via FedEx. All items are shipped fully insured.
When will my order ship?
Items are shipped within 3 to 4 days after we receive your order, unless otherwise noted.
Do you offer expedited shipping?
Not through the website. If you need an order expedited, call the gallery at (603) 778-8282 and we will see what we can do. Expedited shipping is not available for every item.
What if an item is damaged during shipping?
- Keep all the packaging, including the outer carton. Damaged pieces must be returned in their original packaging.
- Call the gallery at (603) 778-8282 and tell us what happened. We will tell you what to do with the item and how to proceed.
- Return within 30 days of receiving the damaged item for a full refund minus shipping fees. Items must be unworn or unused and in their original packaging.
Exeter Fine Crafts is not responsible for damaged or lost return shipments, or for return shipping costs.
Returns
What is your return policy for online purchases?
Unworn or unused items can be returned for a full refund, minus shipping, within 30 days of receipt.
Because our work is handcrafted, some variation is normal. Many pieces are unique in color, size and shape and may differ slightly from the photographs.
If you are not satisfied, package your purchase carefully, enclose a copy of your order receipt, and send it fully insured within 30 days to:

Shipping and handling on returned merchandise is not refundable. Please pack items appropriately to avoid damage — anything that arrives damaged because of inadequate packaging cannot be refunded.
Can items purchased online be exchanged?
Yes, within 30 days of purchase. Shipping charges apply to the exchange.
What is your return policy for in-store purchases?
All returns must be made within 30 days and with a receipt, for exchange or store credit only. Sale items and custom orders are final.
All returns are subject to inspection, and we can only accept items in perfect, original, unused condition. Exeter Fine Crafts reserves the right to refuse a return.
Online and in-store returns are handled differently. The online policy above applies only to purchases made through our website. Anything bought in the gallery follows the in-store policy — exchange or store credit, with a receipt, within 30 days.

By providing both an educational and a retail environment, we expand public awareness and understanding of craft traditions and innovations, and increase public and private support for fine crafts and craftspeople.
